A great place to get fresh lychees is from Pinnacle Hill Lychees – at the store in our orchard or from our online shop.
Our farm is open 7 days a week, all day long, during the fresh lychee fruit season (November- December January) and by appointment the rest of the year. If you’ve never tasted a lychee before you can sample some of the different varieties before you buy.

The Australian lychee industry is unique in having the longest lychee production season in the world.
Due to the introduction of earlier and later fruiting varieties, and the extensive production zones from tropical to temperate climates, the industry produces fruit from October in Far North Queensland to early April in Northern NSW.
This gives the Australian industry a significant advantage over our competitors on world markets. No other country can offer such a long line of supply of quality-controlled fresh lychees.
Fresh Lychees – Variety
Pinnacle Hill Lychees exclusively grows the Variety B3 / Kwai Mai Pink variety with approximately 7500 producing trees. Suited for our region, Ingham, North QLD, fruit is harvested from 15th November to 15th January.
Growing Lychees
The lychee (Litchi chinensis) is a subtropical tree from the Sapindaceae family and is thought to have originated from southern China. The lychee is an evergreen tree which grows to heights of more than 20 m.
